YMCA staff and volunteers from around the world met together:
- To strengthen the Christian dimension and Christ – centered vision and call of the YMCA movement
- To develop relevant and suitable Christian emphasis programs in a YMCA context
- To gain experience in the unity expressed in the YMCA’s founding verse of John 17:21

To share and reflect on the Christian Mission of the YMCA, as stated in the Paris Basis
