It’s time for us to gather, across the global YMCA family, to share learning and gain fresh perspectives on our work together.
In July 2026 we’ll celebrate our 21st World Council in the great city of Toronto, Canada and you are invited to come a few days before to a Christian mission conference held at the Tyndale University.
Over the last four years Christian mission networks have continued to emerge and grow, from South America to Asia, Europe to USA, prayerfully supporting World YMCA’s Vision 2030 and exploring how we can see spiritual life and vitality thrive in every YMCA.
Our theme for this conference is ‘Ascend’ — inspired by this declaration in Isaiah 55:
“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Our prayer is, ‘Lord Jesus, show us Your perspective.’
So, join us to pray together for our nations, to share wisdom, and to seek a higher view, that we might love, serve and care with boldness in our YMCAs in the years to come.
What can you expect?
The four-day conference will include:
- Multi-cultural expressions of worship and prayer
- Updates from Christian mission networks across the world

- Excursions
Where will we meet and stay?
Accommodation, food and meetings will be in Tyndale University in Toronto, with some alternative accommodation in a nearby hotel if we reach capacity.
